BRIDGES OF PEACE: A Documentary on Inclusion of Women in Community Development in Northwest Nigeria
Global Rights, funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) UK, embarked on a project focused on “Deploying Strategies for Increasing Access to Justice and Promoting Credible Peaceful Democratic Processes in Northwest Nigeria”.
Phase 1 of the project was implemented in Kaduna and Sokoto states. After successful implementation in these states, the project was expanded to Katsina and Kano states while continuing in the previous states.
This documentary highlights the successes gained in the phase and buttresses the extent of work that still needs to be done across Northwest Nigeria.
